Privacy policy

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. There is no agreed standard for responding to it, so the site does not change its behavior when it receives one.

Global Privacy Control (GPC) is a browser signal asking a site not to sell or share your personal information. We honor it as that request. In practice nothing changes, because we do not sell or share personal information.

Google Analytics is the only tracking on the site. To stop it, block cookies or use Google's opt-out add-on, as described above.

Third-party services

The site runs on Vercel and uses Google Analytics, both described above. Vercel and Google may process limited technical data, such as your IP address, under their own privacy policies.

Fonts are served from our own domain, not from a font service.

No other third-party service on the site collects personal information.

Links to other sites, including restspace.us and client sites, take you outside this policy. Those sites have their own policies.

Security

The site is served only over HTTPS. Your browser is told to always use a secure connection (HSTS).

The contact form sends nothing to our servers. Your message travels through your own email provider, so the site never holds a copy.

We keep correspondence in our business email. Only staff who need it to respond have access.

No system is perfectly secure. If you notice a security problem, email info@asareresearch.com.

Data retention

We keep email correspondence only as long as we need it to respond, to carry out any work that follows, or to meet legal obligations.

Google Analytics keeps event data for the retention period set in our analytics configuration, then deletes it.

You can ask us to delete anything you have sent us at any time.

Children's privacy

The site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.

If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Visitors outside the United States

AR+D operates this site from California. Information is processed in the United States.

The site is meant for organizations in the United States. It does not target visitors in the European Union or the United Kingdom.

If you visit from outside the United States, you agree that your information will be processed in the US. Privacy laws there may differ from those where you live.

California privacy rights

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) may give you rights over your personal information. These rights apply to the extent the CCPA applies to AR+D.

The site collects these categories of personal information: online identifiers (cookie IDs), internet activity (pages viewed), approximate location, and the contact details and messages you choose to send us.

You can ask to know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use it.

You can ask us to delete it.

You can ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate.

You can opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as the CCPA defines those terms.

We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

We will confirm your identity before acting, usually by matching details against what you have already sent us. We respond within the time the law requires.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. Updates will appear on this page with a new effective date.
