Overview
The CDC-funded platform serves healthcare professionals and communities across California in English and Spanish. It delivers cultural humility training and health equity resources. It also offers chronic disease prevention tools. AR+D led strategy, design, development, and content production across the platform.
The problem
CDPH needed a platform to deliver chronic disease prevention programming and health equity resources to diverse healthcare professionals across California. Existing tools were fragmented and English-only. They were not designed for frontline health workers in underserved communities.
What we did
We ran audience research with healthcare professionals and community health workers. We then designed a bilingual content architecture and built the platform from the ground up. Our team integrated CDC's National Diabetes Prevention Program framework and wrote original health equity policy templates and training resources.
